Hostess products from the Continental Baking Company placed ads in Bronze Age comics from various publishers, featuring comic/cartoon characters. Various Harvey Comics characters ended up in the ads.
The Harveyville Fun Times![]
Comic historian, Mark Arnold wrote an informative 4-part article on the history of the Harvey Comics Hostess ads in the fanzine, The Harveyville Fun Times!, that ran in issues 59, 62, 63 and 66.
Stan Kay wrote all of the Harvey ads with art by Warren Kremer. (Fred Rhoads was too expensive to have draw the Sad Sack ones.)
