Elmer the Broom Maker

Elmer the Broom Maker is a recurring character in the Wendy comics and stories.

Elmer is an elf, and is also known as Elmer Elf. Elmer makes magic flying brooms for witches.

In Wendy #72 the character is just called Broom Maker and has a slightly different appearance, but it's probably the same character. The house behind him is the same except missing the word Elmer on the roof sign.
